About me
Oksana Liashenko is a Ukrainian photographer working in the field of fine art and conceptual photography. She has been practicing professionally for over seven years, during which she has developed a distinctive visual language focused on the relationship between human presence and nature.
Photography has been part of her life since childhood. Her father practiced analog photography, and she grew up observing the process of shooting and developing film. This early experience shaped her sensitivity to light, texture, and atmosphere.
Oksana holds a degree in analytical chemistry and previously worked in business. The combination of analytical thinking and intuitive artistic process informs her method, where layered imagery and natural elements play a central role.
Throughout her practice, she has explored themes of femininity, corporeality, memory, and inner resilience. During the stress of wartime, her work evolved into a more introspective artistic form, leading to the creation of the project “Sources.” The project reflects her core idea: that strength, origin, and renewal exist within the human being.
